The Selectboard chartered the 2026 Town Services Committee (TSC) on February 19, 2026, to review, research, propose, compare, and ultimately make recommendations about the services Danville offers. This year’s topics – from the Town Services Committee 2026 Charter – include (planners and advisors listed in parentheses):

• Fundraising / grant-writing support (Stacy, Judy + Alison Low)
• Water district / utilities governance (moot with DFD#1 intent to continue independently)
• Fire stations – North Danville / Main / CALEX building (Brian, Glenn + Eric Bach)
• Interactive resident-government texting service (e.g. TextMyGov) (Glenn + Keith, Michelle)
• Class 3 and 4 road classifications (Glenn, Brian, Judy + Keith)
• Establishing a Town Recreation Committee (Glenn, Judy + Jan Ouellette)

The Town Services Committee meets in the Town Hall at 6:00 pm on the second Wednesday of every month (except Tuesday the 10th in November). The public is always welcome! The members are volunteers who serve for one year – the Selectboard anticipates chartering new versions of the committee each year, as needed:
