Vermont authorizes town Planning Commissions under 24 V.S.A. § 4321 and the Town Zoning Bylaw (section 302) establishes one for Danville with the following duties: maintain and update the Zoning Bylaw; maintain and update the Town Plan; and perform and support other Town planning related tasks.
The Planning Commission meets in the Town Hall at 7:30 pm on the fourth Thursday of every month (January through October) and the second Thursday of November and December. Members of the public are always welcome!
