Joe’s Pond Town Beach
The formation of the Town Beach began in 1950 and has always been a labor of love, supported entirely by dedicated volunteers—including members of the Danville Chamber of Commerce, individual community members, and now the West Danville Community Club (WDCC).
- MISSION: The WDCC’s mission is to maintain and enhance Joe’s Pond Public Beach and the surrounding natural areas while promoting community involvement.
- The West Danville Community Club’s hard work and dedication was recognized by the Danville Chamber of Commerce as they were named the 2025 “Citizens of the Year”, earning them a place in the Danville Fair parade.
- The WDCC has added a wooden, open shelter, available on a first-come, first-served basis, thanks to community support.
- The beach is a Carry In, Carry Out” facility—please help keep our beach clean and beautiful for everyone to enjoy!
- Questions or concerns can be directed to: Town of Danville 802-684-3352 or WDCC President, Deborah Stresing 802-684-2192
