  • There is a Credit/Debit card convenience fee of 2.75%, based on the principal amount paid. Please fill in all required fields to ensure properly applied payments.  (Example:  The fee on a $2,000.00 tax bill would be $55.00).
  • You may now pay by ACH or ECHECK, for a $1.50 fee, by clicking “MAKE PAYMENT” just like you would for a credit card.

Property Taxes

  • Must be in the hands of the Town Treasurer by 4:00 PM on November 13, 2026, to avoid late fees of 4% penalty plus 1% per month interest. Any outstanding principal tax balance after 30 days will be assessed an additional 4% penalty.
  • Any Credit card payments made after 4:00 pm will be considered received as of next business day and will be assessed the late fee and interest.

Sewer

Payments are due quarterly with the first payment due March 31 (then end of June, September, and December). For one family residences, the charge is $128.75. Make checks payable to Town of Danville.

Dogs

  • All dogs over the age of 6 months old must be licensed by April 1 of each year. A current rabies certificate is required.
  • Neutered males & spayed females – $11 (after April 1st, $13 + fine)
  • Intact males & females – $15 (after April 1st, $19 + fine)
  • Fine for lack of current license and/or rabies tag: $100 for first offense, $200 for subsequent offenses (but note: late voluntary waiver fee is $5 from April 16 to June 30, $10 July 1 and later)
  • Examples: If you simply forgot and come in to register a neutered male on April 2, the cost is $13 (no waiver fee); on April 16, it becomes $18; and on July 1 it becomes $23. If the Town has to chase you down to register a neutered male, the starting figure is $113.
