A request to post TEMPORARY signs on Danville Town Property is supported by the Selectboard.

The Danville Selectboard supports the use of Town property to post signs announcing upcoming local community events of potential interest to its residents and taxpayers as well as others passing through town. HOWEVER, it does ask those wishing to put such signs on the Town’s public property to contact the Assistant to the Selectboard at 802-684-3426 or email the request to adeprospero@danvillevt.gov.  Your request whether new or repeating, should include the first day of posting and the removal date, size of sign and wording on sign.  Most requests to announce events will be granted permission by the Assistant to the Selectboard. Requests for the posting of public service announcements or requests to post signs not announcing upcoming events will need to go to the Selectboard for approval. Be sure to submit such a request with at least one Selectboard meeting before the date you would like to post the sign(s). The Selectboard meet every first and third Thursday of the month.

The Danville Selectboard does not support the use of Town property for the posting of political signs and will not approve such
requests. Signs posted without permission will be taken down and disposed. No political signage allowed on Town property.
