The Stump Dump (also sometimes called the Wood Dump or the Rodgers lot, one of two Town Forests) is located at 1326 Bruce Badger Memorial Highway and is open from 8am to noon on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month from from May through October (except for the Town Fair weekend).

By law, the Stump Dump can only accept yard waste and untreated wood – no treated, painted, or stained wood and no construction materials or debris. See the Stump Dump Policy for details of its operation.

Note that the attendants for the Stump Dump are volunteers – without them, the Town would either have to hire attendants or (more likely) stop opening it to the public. Please do not harass the attendants or ask them to stay later than they already do. To access the Stump Dump at other times, ask questions, or volunteer as an attendant, contact the Selectboard Assistant at 802-684-3426.
