Public Design Charette for Municipal Parking Lot @ 36 Route 2W
Oct 6 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

PUBLIC DESIGN CHARRETTE FOR MUNICIPAL PARKING LOT
Monday, October 6th, Town Office: Meal at 5:00pm; Charrette from 5:30pm-7:00pm
Ready to design a parking lot that works for our community? The Town has recently hired DuBois & King to identify landscaping and stormwater solutions, permitting requirements, and develop a cost estimate and funding strategy for a shared use parking facility in the vacant lot adjacent to the Town Hall.  A ROBUST public engagement strategy is key to ensuring a successful design, so we are hosting a charrette, an intensive design process facilitated by landscape architects and engineers, that brings
diverse stakeholders to create a vision. Who is a stakeholder? YOU are. Join us and be a part of the vision!
We are serving a light meal since it’s at 5:00pm, so please help us plan a successful event by registering: bit.ly/RegistrationsDanvilleCharrette

Dog Park Brush Hogging Day @ LVRT Trail head across from Marty's
Oct 25 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Danville Dog Park Brush Hogging Day Saturday!

Alison Low • Brainerd St, Danville

Event

When: Oct 25, 2025, 10 AM to 2 PM
Where: LVRT Trail head across from Marty’s

Hi — thanks to everyone who came out for the site visit. We have someone who has graciously offered to brush hog the Dog Park, just off the LVRT, accessible from the trailhead parking across from Marty’s. We need about three or four more volunteers on Saturday morning at 10, who can assist by moving downed tree limbs, raking, and basically ensuring a clear path for the brush hog. I don’t expect this to be too strenuous. Volunteers should wear sturdy work gloves and shoes for potentially uneven surfaces.

Afterwards we are heading out to Three Ponds for nachos and pizza — my treat — so if you’re new to the Dog Park effort, we’ll get to know you better!

Anyone have a few hours to start the transformation? Please let me know if you can put in a few hours.
