Are you seeing them? Sooo many Yellow Swallowtail butterflies are gracing our world.
Let’s celebrate them at STORYTIME.
Come to Pope Memorial Library this Wednesday, June 18th and join Miss Marilyn, Youth Librarian, for stories, songs and movement games and a craft; all about butterflies. We’ll have so much fun. Snack provided too.
And … don’t miss our upcoming event. Our Summer Reading Kick-off happens Wednesday, June 25th. Sing-a-long, dance and be merry with Music Man, Ed Morgan. DRB (Development Review Board) meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 5:30 pm at Danville Town Hall, first floor conference room at back of building. Entry is through the rear side door. The Danville Selectboard meet the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at 6pm. All are welcome. - Only the following materials are acceptable for passive composting: yard waste (leaves, grass clippings, plant material, stumps, branches, etc.), untreated lumper: scrap wood (some nails ok), pallets: by law no painted, stained, or pressure treated wood; No construction waste such as sheet rock, concrete, brick, rock, metal, etc.
- Open (with volunteer attendants) on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the months of May through October from 8:00am until noon.
- Attendants must maintain a log including the name and address of users and the type and approximate weight of materials.
- To access the Stump Dump at other times, ask questions, or volunteer as an attendant, please call the Selectboard office at 802-684-3426 or Glenn Herrin at 802-274-0072 – volunteers are always welcome and needed!

The Danville Town Band will be presenting two concerts and free ice cream socials this summer: Sunday, June 22 & Sunday, August 17 on the Danville Town Green from 6pm until 8pm on the bandstand located on the green. All are welcome!
