When: May 28, 2025, 10:30 to 11:30 AM STORYTIME at Pope Memorial Library this week is all about COMMUNITY. How best to relate this theme to our toddlers and preschoolers? Stories, songs and activities that are all about helping and sharing. Miss Marilyn, our Youth Librarian, has lots of fun planned. Come join our happy gathering this Wednesday, May 28th. Conservation meets the 1st Monday of each month at 7pm. Please check there prior to coming to a meeting posted on the Town Calendar to make sure there is an agenda which will detail meeting being held.
DRB (Development Review Board) meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 5:30 pm at Danville Town Hall, first floor conference room at back of building. Entry is through the rear side door. - Only for Danville Residents or contractors working on Danville property.
- Only the following materials are acceptable for passive composting: yard waste (leaves, grass clippings, plant material, stumps, branches, etc.), untreated lumper: scrap wood (some nails ok), pallets: by law no painted, stained, or pressure treated wood; No construction waste such as sheet rock, concrete, brick, rock, metal, etc.
- Open (with volunteer attendants) on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the months of May through October from 8:00am until noon.
- Attendants must maintain a log including the name and address of users and the type and approximate weight of materials.
- To access the Stump Dump at other times, ask questions, or volunteer as an attendant, please call the Selectboard office at 802-684-3426 or Glenn Herrin at 802-274-0072 – volunteers are always welcome and needed!

Neighbors, business owners, and local officials will gather at the Village Green to discuss issues impacting walking and then head out to survey three popular walking routes. In this public event, AARP will show residents how to assess walkability conditions — and inspire needed change!
What: Community Walk Audits of Danville will include the following Routes:
– Hill Street
– Brainerd Street
– Peacham Road
When: Wednesday, June 11th, 12:45 – 2:30 PM, Light Lunch will be provided
