A public outreach and information meeting has been scheduled for 6:30 pm on Thursday, September 25 at Danville Town Hall. Residents will be able to review conceptual plans and meet the design team, VHB and municipal project manager, DuBois and King. The design work is underway and conceptual plans have been presented. The survey and base mapping have been completed. The environmental review is underway and the wetland boundaries have been confirmed with DEC. VHB is working on documents to be submitted for the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). VHB has reviewed operational stormwater requirements and determined that a permit is not required. Conceptual plans highlight areas needing further definition from the town and public for the development of preliminary plans. Two areas require thought: intersection of LVRT with path along Peacham Road and parking configuration on Hill Street.
