Note from Conservation: We are making good progress on the trail at Rogers Lot and want to keep the momentum going. We have scheduled a couple more work days during this month and we would love your help if you would like join us.

Sunday May 21^st at 3pm

Meet at Rogers Lot (the Stump Dump)

Our goals are:

Continue and finish roughing in the trail corridor(Chainsaws, loppers)

Connecting the trail corridor to the new parking area

Rake the entirety of the trail ( metal rakes, yard rakes)

Grooming the trail tread (de-stumper tool, Brush saw)

Picking up trash along trail and in the forest access roads and interior (trash bags)

Bring Gloves and whatever tools above you might like to bring.

Annual BBQ fund raiser – this year held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 11am until 1pm. Held on the gazebo side of the Green (rain location will be in the basement of the Danville United Methodist Church.

JUST HAVIN’ FUN band will be entertaining all. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be served along with veggie burgers, baked beans, BBQ chicken, assorted salads, clam chowder, homemade huge Toll House cookies, fruit salad, homemade non-dairy frozen confection, sweet and unsweetened ice tea, lemonade, and water.
