Dog licenses for the current year may be purchased anytime between January 1 and April 1 to be considered timely. If you have just moved to town, or acquired a new dog over the age of six months, a grace period of one month is allowed. If you have a new puppy, it should be licensed once it has turned six months old.  A current rabies certificate is required. You may obtain the licenses at the Town Clerk’s Office at 36 Route 2 West.

The fee for neutered males and spayed females between January 1 and April 1 is $9.00, after April 1 is $11.00.

The fee for intact males and females between January 1 and April 1 is $13.00, after April 1 is $17.00.
